Wild reindeer-potato salad

  • 400–500 g of Lapin Liha’s sautéed reindeer or sautéed red deer meat
  • 1 kg of firm potatoes
  • 2 tbsp of cooking oil for frying
  • 2 yellow onions
  • 4 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • chives
  • 10 sliced radishes
  • 200 g of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • sour cream


  1. Wash the potatoes and bake them whole in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the warm potatoes in half and arrange them on a serving platter.
  3. Slice the onions from root to top and blanch quickly in salted water.
  4. Brown the meat in oil, add red wine vinegar, sugar, and olive oil.
  5. Arrange the meat, tomatoes, radishes, onions, and chopped chives on top of the potatoes. Finish with sour cream, fresh herbs, salt, and black pepper.
