Red deer kebab with sour cream

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Lapin Liha’s sautéed reindeer
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 small piece of white cabbage
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 dl chopped parsley
  • 3 tbsp canola oil
  • Accompaniments
  • 1 dl ketchup
    1 tbsp grated horseradish
    1 dl sour cream
    2 slices of soft flatbread
    salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and halve the onions. Cut the onion halves into crescent-shaped slices.
  2. Place the meat in a pan on low heat. Melt and separate the meat with a fork. Increase the heat and add 1 tbsp of oil. Brown the meat together with the onion. Squeeze in the garlic and add thyme, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Slice the cabbage thinly and put it in a salad bowl. Pour over hot water, 2 tbsp of oil, and lemon juice. Add parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Mix the grated horseradish and ketchup.
  5. Serve with thin flatbread and sour cream.
